-Welcome to the Minecraft Wrestling Wiki! Minecraft Wrestling Alliance (MWA) is a Minecraft wrestling company, based on the use of player-vs-player combat, buttons, and other available Minecraft items. The best version for the server is 1.16.5-1.19.2. The server address is play.minecraftwrestling.com, with the original server IP migrating to our website, MinecraftWrestling.com. As of September 2024, the company is owned by the Server Owners, Crews, Taco, and Nuck.
As of October 2022, the company hosted and uploaded monthly Pay-Per-View shows in addition to RISE and Takeoff! Episodes on the Minecraft Wrestling Network via YouTube but has since rebranded under one brand named Unleashed as of November 2024. The MWA occasionally uploads news, updates & announcements, match cards, and promo videos on their Twitter account and their Instagram account, as well as occasionally posting clips and highlights from shows on their TikTok account.
The company has underwent multiple name-changes in the past, from Minecraft Pro Wrestling (MPW), to Minecraft Xtreme Wrestling (MXW), and finally - as of January 2020 - the Minecraft Wrestling Alliance (MWA).
History[]
In July of 2015, Caleb, Todee, and Nevlin all came together with a passion and a vision for the future of MC Wrestling. Ever since the very first MXW event, the server and community have grown, and as a result, dozens of indie promotions and developmental companies were created over the years, which was the perfect opportunity for new superstars and already-established wrestlers to showcase their skills on a weekly basis.
In late 2019, Minecraft Xtreme Wrestling (MXW) would release information about the company's rebranding into Minecraft Wrestling Alliance (MWA). [1]
On July 25th, 2021, Minecraft Wrestling would officially come to an end, however, a revival would be announced a year later on October 2022, where the first ever Minecraft Wrestling show in over 460 days would be held; King's Road 2022.
On October 25th, 2024, Milky stepped down from Minecraft wrestling for the final time as a wrestler and owner. Nevlin and Taco stepped up to take over as of Broken Dreams going into the newest era of MWA, starting with the new weekly show, MWA Unleashed.
